360 game with a great storyline

I just got a 360. The only games I have right now are Gears and Condemned. The problem I had with Gears was that it just had no story. Is there any game out there that has a good story with decent gameplay? I need some suggestions. 360 game with a great storyline
Umm... Oblivion, LOTR BFME2, and well cant think of any others.360 game with a great storyline

Oblivion, FEAR, and maybe Vegas
well the games that look like they have really good story lines arent even out yet..like assasins creed, thats going to have such a good story behind it because somehow they are combining the future and the past. and Bioshock looks pretty intresting, so does mass effect and too human.

you already have condemned, but if anybody who reads this topic hasnt played it, try it its amazing. Story seems really light in a lot of xbox games, but oblivion is an obvious example of a strong storyline, hmmm condemned.....ok, dead rising had a story that you could shape by your choices, but yeah, gears of war was pretty open (i cant believe they think a movie of gears would be good) and a good story is hard to come by in 360 games...... hopefully we are getting into a time when developers are getting past just using graphics to awe you in this ''next generation'' and start making deeper games
If you are looking for anything in the likes of Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy or even Devil May Cry; 360 doesn't have any game with a story that is up par with those. I reckon it soon will though, with Devil May Cry 4 and Lost Odyssey (from the makers of Final Fantasy if I recall, so it should be good).And I still somewhere have hopes that MGS4 makes it to 360. But it most likely won't though.

I'm interested though, for any of the people who say Oblivion's story is great and such. Have any of the people here actually played and completed MGS or a FF game?
final fantasy kind of soap-operas the story, Oblivion had a solid ''story'' but I see yalls point about Oblivion not being as deep as ''FF'' or metal gear. BUt the whole point is to talk about what is already out!! people will always say ''final fantasy/halo/resident evil/barbie horse adventures'' is better, but thats also the main reason all companies have sequilitis.
