Ok, so I just recently bought my 360, and love it, but there is one little issue that is driving me crazy. I have a 17 inch LCD HD TV and t supports 480p, 720p and 1080i. I know that 1080i is going to be widescreen, and I would use it, but I don't have a widescreen tv. So I was just going to use 720p, because I heard that it should work full screen high def on a normal HD TV. Thing is it doesn't. All I can get is a 720p widescreen instead of 720p normal screen. Any way of correcting this, if at all? ThanksHigh def problems on 360
There should be a setting in the system blade to switch your tv format from 16:9 to 4:3.High def problems on 360
sorry, kind of new to this...what do you mean, system blade?
when your turn you 360 on it will goto the Games blade if you don't have a game in. Press your left stick right till you get to the system blade.
Blade refers to the different ''pane-like'' menus on the dashboard like the ''Media'' pane, ''System'' pane, ''Game'' panes. In more layman's terms, the things that make a swoosh sound when you navigate through them on the dashboard. lol
oh yea >_
dangit, it cut off my post....anyway, it won't let me select a different screen format when I change to 720p. Any ideas?
