I picked up Tenchu Z a few days ago, and I expected myself to absolutely hate it. Well, it's the complete opposite, this game is a blast. It's so bad that it's actually a ton of fun. Sure the graphics aren't up to par, and the AI is as smart as a window licking poodle, but I love jumping down from roofs and gutting someone. :twisted: Have any of you ever felt this way about a really poor and mediocre game? I will get this game when it hits the 20$ box, because that's about what it's worth. Father, I've committed a sin!
GUN was pretty mediocre but i had a blast playning it.. The only down side is that the last boss is so fu**ing hard on normal cant even imagine how he is on hard :S
Hey. Window licking poodles can be quite smart.
I saw Earth Defence Force in the bargain bin so picked it up .... I put it in and haven't stopped playing it since .... its a great no frills game ... really fun!
Here's another vote for Earth Defense Force. Sometimes paying too much attention to magazine and web reviews can be a bad thing.
Well, Spider man 3 got fair reviews, but I really enjoyed playing through it.
i really like the demo lol maybe im just weird. i rarely listen to reviews i play a game now called KUMA/WAR i think it got a 3 and i love the game. the mp is fun too. just goes to show. done judge a book by its cover
Well the newest one I can think of is Shadowrun. It got slammed in the reviews but it's really a great game that didn't get the credit it deserved.

Yea i Remember u on Tenchu like topics on this board saying how bad it is.. I Didn't agree with u at all.. now you know why have fun with it great game :P

[/QUOTE]Yeah i felt that way about Xmen 3 the official game i loved playing as Night Crawler teleporting around and kicking butt it was awesome i really don't think it was that bad of a game.
Everyone has a differnt opinion just because it was some reviewers opinion that the game was bad doesn't mean that you wont like it, I'm glad to see people still buy games despite reviews if I had listened to reviews I wouldn't have played some really awsomme games.

And what was it? [/QUOTE]HAve you ever played any other Tengu game? If not then this is still original to you and you'll probably like hwo it plays. But Tengu for the original xbox was even better. I've played Tengu Z the demo and it looks even worse then the last gen Tengu games and the AI has become even dumber. There is no way someone who has played Tengu before could like this version.
yeah, Tenchu is quite fun... I only wish there where more coop missions/maps...

I bought just cause, I really enjoyed(andI'm still enjoying) that game.
I bought Superman Returns based on the demo. On one hand it was a huge waste of money due to the ridiculously repetitive gameplay, but on the other Metropolis and Superman himself are very well done. They nailed the controls which makes it a lot of fun to just fly around the city and take in the sights.
