Formatting 360 Hard Drive

Is there a way to format (defragment) the 360 hard drive without deleting all the data on the hard drive? Just curious. Thanks for your help!Formatting 360 Hard Drive
Yes, go to the system blade and then select memory. Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X, X, LB, RB , X,X . A message will come up asking if you want to perform maintenance, click yes. The only thing this deletes is patches for any of your games. Everything else is unaffected.
