a couple of problems, but no red lights, ...

i know there are loads of these threads, but i really need help. im stumped at why my 360 is locking up. ever since i brought it back from my friends house where it refused to turn on, we had to unplug the power lead twice before it would turn on. and now its locking up. ive included some pics to show where its placed and if its more ventilation. if theres anything i didnt make clear enough just ask i will try it make it clearer.PIC 1PIC 2PIC 3a couple of problems, but no red lights, ...
Locking up?Try this. Remove the hard-drive then turn the console on. If it freezes with the hard-drive off, then the console is gone.If not, then turn the console off. Unplug the the ethernet cable from the 360 and turn it on. Sometimes a laggy internet connection can cause freezing in the dashboard. a couple of problems, but no red lights, ...
Not much you can do.. Call M$ or bring it back to the store you bought it from.. Feel sry for you pal :(

[/QUOTE]i do have a crappy internet connection, but my routers busted so i dont think thats the problem, im playing it now without the HDD to see what its like. i had the same problem with my last unit.
it would freeze after its been on for a while, and if my room is warm. sometimes it wont freeze at all.
lol if you send it in to M$ they will probably plug it in then if it turns on theyll pack back up then ship it back with no change. if it freezes on them theyll chuck it on a broken pile and pick up another on the broken pile and send that to you.

Does it simply lock up or do you get a static-like texture when it freezes?
the screen just freezes, no little blocks or anything, just a static image. sound will also stop aswell
