i noticed that there's less audio output when playing DVD's than when playing games - anyone know why this is?Less sound when playing DVD's than when ...
I've noticed this too. I always have to higher it a little when watching DVD's.Less sound when playing DVD's than when ...
Yeah, I've noticed that too. Bring up the DVD menu and make sure the Dynamic range control or DRC is turned off. It probably is. DVDs sound a little softer, but HD-DVDs are super quiet unless they have a DolbyTruHD soundtrack which sounds a little better, at least to me. My advice would be to play DVDs in a DVD player, if you have the option. The extra wear on the 360 drive can be bad and lead to you getting the dreaded ''This disc is dirty or damaged'' error message, it's not too common but it can happen.
So you're saying that DVD movies cause more wear on the Xbox 360's disc drive than DVD-L's (games)? You mean my 360 will start scratching discs if I watch too many DVD's?
i dont really notice it, since i adjust the sound with every game and movie i put in. Some i like loud, others i dont
this happened to me and my friend yesterdya we gad to turn it up really loud
