They oughta fix the rep system

1. Almost everyone has 5 stars, and I've never seen anyone with less than 3.



2. ''xx% of players preferred you or did not submit a review about you'' and ''xx% of players avoided you'' only factors in players who submitted a review about you, so the two are both misleading.



3. In searching for a Gears of War match, a host with a lower rep will appear farther down the list, but will still be easily findable.



4. What they should do is make a ''preferred rate'' and ''avoid rate''. The preferred rate is the total % of players you've ever played with who have preferred you. The avoid rate, you guessed it. Players can be banned from XBL for short periods of time if they have a high avoid rate.They oughta fix the rep system

They can't make the rep system have any real detrimental effects, because then you can just avoid someone into oblivion for no reason. I get ''avoided'' all the time when I beat people in games. Hell, even whey THEY disconnect, they give me a bad review. It's broken.

suspending XBL because people dont like doesnt sound like my kinda fun. Besides it would just make people avoid you for fun. And i get yelled at all the time during games if i get lucky and just dominate everyone
yea maybe banning people for rep is a little too far, but at least they should make the ''star'' system a little more authentic - they should make it net-value based, where you gain a star when you have like 10 more prefers than avoids, and lose a star when you have 10 unanswered avoids, etc...
i never pay attention to that rep crap. its pointless
One interesting thing they could do in some games would be to let you build a filter that takes rep into account. So pick some game and ok i want to play with people who have a rep greater than 3 say. Goes and finds players that meet that criteria. Would be hard to actually have working unless the server grouped everyone together rather than letting you create the rooms.

I keep getting bad reviews because I own little kids in Gears and they get mad. The rep system is so one-sided.
so how come its impossible to have less than 3 stars on your rep?

oh wow - yeah in all the gamercards i've viewed while playing on xbl i never saw anything like that in terms of rep
