360 Advice

I really want to get a 360 but all the service problems is scarring me away can any of you answer the following questions.1. How long is the initial warranty I believe it's one year but i'm not sure?2. If my 360 is starting to act up but hasn't broken can I still go ahead and have Microsoft replace it with a new one before the warranty period is up?3. How much is Best Buy's warranty? I hear people talking about getting it but what would be the advantage over just having MS repair or replace it? 4. Has there been any announcements on the 65nm processors that run cooler yet?5. I really would prefer to have my 360 in an enclosed cabinet (I'm a bit of a stickler for aesthetics even though my HDTV, speakers, and stand are all black) but if I did that would I just be asking for problems? Would it be okay if it was enclosed with a NYKO intercooler? How loud is the intercooler?thanks in advanced.360 Advice

Don't get the intercooler because it draws power from your 360, which can make it burn and melt onto the back of your 360. Its a big waste of money.if you like black get a elite.
I thought the Elite's were limited edition and I wouldn't be able to find one by the time they went to 65nm.

if you can get a elite get one. I know they havn't been out that long but i havnt heard any of the elites breaking. Maybe im wrong. Anyway dont be afraid because of some people's scary stories. In my opinion it seems hard to go through 3 xbox's and not be doing anything wrong in keeping it in good shape. But yea, warranty is 1 year. If you are afraid of it breaking go ahead and get an extended warranty.
The Best Buy warranty cost me $60 for THREE YEARS. So I am covered. And if something goes wrong, I take it to the store and they hand me a brand new one off the shelf. No waiting on Microsoft and no refurbs.
