ps3 xbox360 disscusion moderation

Why is it that I can't bash other systems on Gamespot? I know it's childish, but freedom of speech is kind of a big deal.. if we have an opinion that isn't profane simply an objection or a relavant discussion, shouldn't it be allowed? Gamespot makes graphical comparrisons with articles that are headed as XBOX360 vs. PS3, doesn't that kind of insite console bashing?Personally i'm happy with my xbox360 and while I have my reservations about the ps3 i'm sure it has a lot of benifits, a game like metal gear solid i'm probably going to really miss out on. Thats why i'll rent the playstation 3 so that I can reap the benifits.I see nothing wrong with people who own xbox360's posting objections in the ps3 threads (the same ones as gamespot does) graphics, available games ect. It promotes healthy disscusion of video games which is why most of us are here. Let gamespot root out the unfair and irrelevant comments as it's part of their job and encourage healthy debates. It's lame and I think being console politically correct is wrong, it's like saying if i'm an oblivion owner and fan I can't post in the final fantasy threads and bash the game or even make comparrisons. Gamespot has ratings for those things and i'm sure if it was possible they'd have ratings for systems 2.ps3 xbox360 disscusion moderation
you can bash any system... but in system wars. the moderation is just to keep everything organized.ps3 xbox360 disscusion moderation
Two words: System Wars.As much as you might think you are right, there is nothing remotely close to ''healthy discussion'' when it comes to comparing consoles.
bryanacrossYour a good kid, so I'm going to tell you this only once. Please do not post PS3 on the Xbox 360 Board. :D

Also, moderation questions go in the Ask the Mods board.
