Shop or Microsoft?

Ok so i've just got the 3 red lights appear on the console meaning a hardware failiure, I bought the console in October last year so who is my one year waranty with; the shop (GAME UK STORES) or Microsoft. In other words should I take the console back to the shop for a replacement or send it off to Microsoft for repair?Shop or Microsoft?
Get it replaced. It doesn't take nearly as long, and you get a brand new console.Shop or Microsoft?
The 360 comes with a 90 day warranty to Microsoft but if you purchased a warranty at the shop, then bring it to the shop.
Bring it into the hsop before October. Seeing the 3 red lights doesn't always mean death, though. I get 1-3 lights every once and a while when I turn my system on. I just turn it off and then back on, and presto. Never crashed once, either.
Don't I have a 1 year warranty with the shop as standard,as it's UK law?
no GAME do not replace units more than 3 months old, i think. send it back to M$, i got mine back in 6 days

[/QUOTE]Manufaturer's warranty for the 360 is 1 year. I heard that Microsoft puts a new heatsink in 360's they repair now, so that might be something to consider.

Which would be Microsoft.I know, because we have the same law in the Netherlands. You can call the shop to clarify though. Maybe they did gave you a year, but it's not law for them to do so.
