^^^^^just wondering (sorry bout so many disk threads) i was wondering if i could get disk drive pads to put on...can i?what type of disk drive does the elite h ...
The exact same disc drives that any 360 has.Hitachi, Toshiba/Samsung, or BenQwhat type of disk drive does the elite h ...
any of those could be in the 360i get? y don't they just stick w/ 1?
i dont vwhy they dont stick with one but i know one of these drives is alot better than the others i think its the hitachi, it loads games faster and read games that have been bucthered
Well, my guess is they use more than one manufacturer for at least a couple of reasons: one being price. Using more than one supplier forces them to price their drives competitively. Two being redundancy. If all they used were BenQ drives and then they were unable to supply the drive for whatever reason - bang - production of the 360 stops.



Just my guess is all.
so it is all luck: if u get the bad (not AS good) or the good drive (Hitaki or watever), when u buy the system?
