DiRT is quite awesome

DiRT came out in Europe yesterday and i've had an hour or so at it and so far i'm pretty impressed. It doesn't control as ultra-realistcally as Forza but I'd say there's more fun to be had early on as each new race is a new track whereas I felt the proving ground is Forza was really dull as you have to rac eteh same courses over and over. The graphics are fantastic, from the detailed car models and the destruction that can be had with them to the rally tracks themselves. There is also a great sense of speed even when you're only going at 50mph.DiRT is quite awesome

I think lack of direct multiplayer will hurt it's score but it has 2-100 players over XBL but I haven't checked out how that works yet
It wont botherme at all. Rally racing is not made for multiple cars on those tiny tracks anyway. If you did a hillclimb or rally race in Rallisport 2 it was crazy. Although i will miss it for crossovers, i think im going to like the multiplayer setup in DiRT.

Sweet dude. I'll try out the online later tonight. Your score gets posted on XBL even in Career and even with just a days release there are already some wicked scores.

Yea its a very good game but it loses marks from me because they have some annoying motorcross rider doing the commentry.

DiRT is a very stunning, beautiful, and attractive rally racing game. I'm 25% done in career mode, and so far I'm speechless! It's one of the best racing games out there on the Xbox 360, and will remain one of the best for a while to come.

Has anyone played with the wheel? When I played the demo I found it to suck terribly with the wheel. Something just didn't feel right, and even playing with the settings I couldn't get it right. I would always end up overcorrecting and it was very difficult to even keep the car straight.If this is fixed, I'd probably have a blast with the game. The demo was otherwise cool, and the cockpit view is awesome.
