Forza or DiRT?

I'll admit I'm not the biggest racing fan, so I don't want (and can't really afford) both of these games, though I've played both the demos and can't decide which one to get. I was hoping that someone who has one or both of them, could offer some advice about which is better. Thanks.Forza or DiRT?
Well... what sounds more appealing to you?Forza 2 - Asphalt, Great simulation, huge customization
Dirt - Many different types of dirt racing, impressive graphics Forza or DiRT?
I have both and i think Forza is the better of the two but both are good games.
i'm going to buy dirt when it releases this week, i rented forza2 and have now returned it. i didn't buy forza2 because i can't be bothered spending hours and hours making custom paint jobs, which is probably the most fun part of playing forza, the racing doesn't do it for me (and i like sim racers, toca 2 is probably my fav racing game). if you didn't already, you should try the buggies in the dirt demo, they're a lot of fun - that's what convinced me to buy.
Forza scared me. Because the last thing I want is a simulated driving experience. I mean, I drive a car every single day, I know what it feels like. Thats why DiRT held more of an interest for me. Since, on the other hand, it isn't every day I get to drive a rally car around dirt tracks. Unless you are in fact Colin McCrae, in which case your argument will be the reverse of this...
DIRT is more appealing to me because i like Arcade style more. I bought Forza 2 mainly just for customizing cars. The overall feel of Forza 2 is too sluggish for me.

DiRT isn't even out yet. Ask this question later this week after people have actually played it.
Dirt all the way. This game is absolutely realism. Very hard racing game.
Seeing how Dirt has no true multiplayer Forza was my choice.

people have played it.

I played the dirt demo and the cars handled unaturally, and when they made contact with another car or something they kinda bounced around, as if they weighed nothing. felt like racing toy cars. I didn't like it so I'm not going to bother with the full game.
^Playing a demo does not qualify people to say which game is better because the Forza 2 demo sucked but the full game is great. So I say again, since no one has played the full game they can't really comment on how much better/worse DiRT is compared to Forza 2.
both there both really good besides the fact i don't know much of either of them.

people have played it, check the dirt forum there are people there who own it already, the first page of this thread I noticed it was in someone's gamertag pic. I heard it was already out in the UK, and it comes out tomorrow so people are bound to get their hands on it.

this guy has it
dirt might be funner but forza 2 will last longer.

Some people just prefer to go insane speeds rather than driving around a sluggish sim-racer. Then again i highly doubt you've been in a real rally racing car, they actually do bounce around like that and easily crash/flip over even if you hit a bump the wrong way.
